1) How and when did you first become involved with native ponies; what was the first native pony that you owned?
As a child, my best friend had a Connemara mare - I just loved that mare. I bought a 4 year old mare for my daughter in 1995.

2) Do you have a soft spot for any pony in particular, owned by yourself or someone else?
I do love all ponies, but Connemara is my favourite.

3) Please state your most memorable judging experience, be it good, bad or amusing?
I think that every time I had success with my ponies it is a good memory.
I wish all breeders success, sometime in their life and career as breeder or rider.

4) What do you believe to be the most important aspects of native pony showing today?
That all people all over the world have eyes for the small race and native ponies who exist.

5) When judging in the ring, what brings a smile to your face?
I am often speaking to showing judges, and it always keeps me smiling or laughing.
When the ponies seem to be conscious about all the people looking at them, and they are trying to make fun.

6) Speaking as a breeder; what do you believe to be the most important aspects of pony breeding today?
Definitely the real and old type, combined with good temper and movement.

7) Speaking as a breeder; please state your most memorable experience during your years of pony breeding, be it good, bad or amusing?
Good / amusing: each time I look at a new born foal at my stud or when some of my ponies are doing good at shows, and all the good times with other breeders in Denmark and Ireland.
Bad: The most memorable sad and bad experience as a breeder, was the day the majority of the annual general meeting in our Society, decided that progeny by approved stallions from other countries are not allowed to be Danish breed, in spite of their mother and owner being Danish and members of the Danish Society.

8) What is the inspiration behind your prefix name?
My nickname, it is short and easy to remember.

9) If you could wave a magic wand and have any pony brought to your yard; be it past, present or future, who would it be?
A beautiful Irish broodmare, named Coosheen Breeze.

10) Can you recommend a good Native Pony book?
3 books by Pat Lyne: Shrouded in mist, Out of the mist and Reflection through the mist.

11) Any 'words of wisdom' you wish to share?
Real love for the Connemara Pony, is to preserve the true type and not to change it.
